A New Year of Intention, Not Pressure
I’ve stopped making New Year’s resolutions.
Not because I don’t want to grow but because I’ve learned that pressure doesn’t create lasting change. Presence does. Intention does. Grace does.
Resolutions always felt like a finish line I was supposed to sprint toward. And when life inevitably got messy — when I missed a workout, lost patience, overspent, or felt tired instead of motivated — I felt like I failed.
For the last several years I have ditched the resolutions!
I’m choosing intentions — gentle, grounded directions for how I want to live and show up. Not perfection. Not all-or-nothing promises. Just honest alignment with the woman I’m becoming.
Instead of asking “What should I fix?”
I’m asking “Who do I want to be?”
